Fashion Legend Alexander McQueen Exhibit!

On Saturday. May. 28th, 2011 A couple of my fashionistas and I decided that we take a trip to The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York City to experience the Legendary Designer Alexander McQueen's Exhibit "Savage Beauty". This was an amazing experience it was like a walk through closet of every woman's dream with a theatrical ambience. It gave us the history on every single one of his collections from the inspirations of his garment styles, shoes, and accessories to the bizarre yet captivating concepts of his runway shows. If you have a chance please go visit this "retrospective" Alexander McQueen Exhibit "Savage Beauty" at The Met in NYC you'll be AMAZED!

Couture Fashion Week New York 2011

On the weekend of February 18th-20th 2011 I interned at Couture Fashion Week in New York city. This glamourous event was held at the historical Waldorf Astoria, Grand Ballroom produced by Andres Aquino. This fashion week is not your ordinary ideal  fashion week. Couture fashion week brings you exquiste shows with luxury fashions. World class designers displayed fabulous garments as beautiful top models graced the runways. In addition, this extravagant event also had Fine Art & Luxury Exihibits with World-Class Entertainment. In attendance were Upscale Boutique Owners, International Press, and Affluent Audiences.

Full Figured Fashion Week

On June 16-18th I attended Full Figured Fashion Week 2010 in New York City sponsered by SONSI. It was just like any other fashion week but BIGGER & BETTER. It partnered with different retailers, designers, event producers, plus size models and everything that the plus industry had to offer. These ladies were very beautiful and the designers were very talented as well. Who ever didn't know that bigger was better well I am here to tell you that attending these events throughout this week would've thought you that. I've never witnessed women so confident and comfortable with themselves and not so worried about what others are saying about them because of their weight. At fffweek the people that I met were so FAN-TAB-U-LOUS they had uplifting spirits and this was a wonderful experience.
